Association And Club Covid 19 Plan

Cricket in a pandemic is a privilege not a right. As a result of COVID-19, cricket this season will look different to any other season.

Whilst the game we all love will proceed when allowed under State Government restrictions, Associations and Clubs need to take numerous steps for training sessions and matches to ensure we comply with State Government protocols. These protocols are designed to minimise the chances of COVID-19 spreading and to maximise the chances of cricket being able to get through the season.

Having a quality COVID-19 Plan will help Associations and Clubs meet these challenges. Cricket Victoria encourage all Clubs and Associations to use the editable COVID-19 Plan (Version 1). This Plan will continue to be updated as more information comes from State Government so we encourage Associations and Clubs to regularly check information via Cricket Victoria, DHHS and Sport and Recreation Victoria for the latest advice. Further versions will be released as a result of key new information.

To assist Clubs and volunteers in their awareness of what they are committing to in the Plan, Cricket Victoria will be hosting webinars on:
Thursday 24 September 12pm-1pm; or
Thursday 24 September 7.30pm-8.30pm

Both of these sessions will have the same content so you can choose your preferred date and time.
